Carbon Steel Channel is a long structural steel with a "C"-shaped cross section, made of carbon steel material through hot rolling or cold bending process. Its main characteristics are high strength and rigidity, while maintaining good weldability and machinability.
The standard cross section of the channel steel consists of a vertical web and parallel flanges on both sides. This structural design makes it have excellent bending resistance when subjected to vertical loads, and is particularly suitable for use as load-bearing components such as beams and columns.
According to different production processes, carbon steel channels can be divided into two types: hot-rolled channels and cold-bent channels. Hot-rolled channels are larger in size and higher in strength, and are mainly used in heavy projects such as building steel structures and bridges; cold-bent channels are more precise in size and have better surface quality, and are often used in light construction, machinery manufacturing and other fields.
This material has the advantages of high cost-effectiveness and easy installation. It can be combined with other steel structural parts by welding, bolting, etc., and is one of the most commonly used basic materials in engineering construction.
