Galvanized Steel Coil is a functional steel material that is uniformly coated with zinc on the surface of high-quality carbon steel through hot-dip or electroplating process. It has both the strength of steel and the anti-corrosion properties of zinc. Its core advantage is that it effectively resists moisture, acid-base environment and oxidative corrosion through the dual mechanisms of physical barrier and cathodic protection of the zinc layer, and its service life can reach 3-5 times that of ordinary steel coils.
The products are subdivided according to the thickness of the zinc layer (such as G60-Z275) and surface treatment (finishing, passivation, embossing), meeting the weather resistance and processing requirements of scenes such as building roofs, home appliance shells, and automobile sheet metal, and are economical and efficient anti-corrosion solutions in the industrial field.
The material strictly follows international standards such as ASTM A653 and JIS G3302. During the production process, the size of zinc flowers can be controlled (no zinc flowers/small zinc flowers/regular zinc flowers) to meet different aesthetic requirements. Hot-dip galvanized coil (GI) is known for its thick zinc layer and is suitable for outdoor structural parts; electro-galvanized coil (EG) is widely used in precision parts of electronic products due to its uniform coating and precise size. Modern technology can also be combined with color coating (such as galvanizing) to further expand its functional boundaries, making it the substrate of choice in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and energy.
