C26000/H70 Brass coil/strip is a standard brass alloy containing 70% copper and 30% zinc, with excellent hot and cold processing properties and good mechanical strength. Its tensile strength can reach 300-600MPa (varies with the degree of work hardening), and its elongation exceeds 65%. It is particularly suitable for complex forming processes such as deep stamping and forging, and is an ideal material for mass production of hardware, cartridges, locks, etc. The surface of this material can be polished to a mirror effect, and the coating has strong adhesion.

Product Description

C26000/H70 brass coil/strip is a standard brass alloy containing 70% copper and 30% zinc, with excellent hot and cold processing properties and good mechanical strength. Its tensile strength can reach 300-600MPa (varies with the degree of work hardening), and its elongation exceeds 65%. It is particularly suitable for complex forming processes such as deep stamping and forging, and is an ideal material for mass production of hardware, cartridges, locks, etc. The surface of this material can be polished to a mirror effect, and the coating has strong adhesion. It is widely used in decorative parts and low-voltage electrical contacts.

In terms of performance balance, C26000/H70 brass shows excellent cost performance, with a cost reduction of 15%-20% compared to high-copper brass, while maintaining a conductivity of about 28% IACS. Although it has good corrosion resistance in dry environments, it is recommended to perform surface treatments such as nickel plating and chrome plating when used in humid or chlorine-containing environments to prevent dezincification corrosion. Typical applications include water pipe valves, electrical terminals, jewelry accessories, and other scenes that require both formability and a certain strength.
