Product Description
The surface of this material can be polished to a mirror effect, and it shows excellent corrosion resistance in fresh water and atmospheric environment. It is often used in fields with high surface quality requirements such as high-end musical instrument tubes and architectural decorative pipes.
Compared with high-zinc brass tubes, H80 brass tubes have better cutting performance (tool wear is reduced by more than 20%) and hot processing adaptability (hot forging temperature 650-800℃), while the conductivity is maintained at around 30%IACS, which is suitable for low-voltage electrical appliances and other application scenarios that require both conductivity and strength. Its cost is 15-20% lower than that of H90 brass tubes, and it has significant advantages in cost-sensitive projects such as lock hardware and ship fresh water systems.
