Gr.1 (ASTM B265) Titanium Alloy Plate is the basic grade of industrial pure titanium and is known for its excellent material purity and stable chemical properties. The plate exhibits unique corrosion resistance in reducing media, and is particularly suitable for handling weak acids, weak bases and neutral media. It is the preferred material for clean systems such as chemical equipment and pharmaceutical pipelines.
Its extremely low elastic modulus is close to that of human bones, and its non-magnetic and non-toxic properties make it irreplaceable in high-end medical fields (such as craniofacial prostheses).
Unlike high-strength titanium alloys, Gr.1 plates emphasize process adaptability - complex thin-walled components (such as bellows) can be made by cold stamping, and welding does not require post-heat treatment. This balance between economy and functionality makes it a core material for long-life equipment such as seawater desalination equipment and nuclear power condenser heat transfer tubes.
