Unlike conventional stainless steel, C-276 can remain stable in strong reducing media (such as boiling hydrochloric acid) and oxidizing environments (such as acidic salts containing Fe³⁺) through the precise alloy ratio of nickel-molybdenum-chromium (Ni≥57%, Mo 15-17%, Cr 14-16.5%), and can even withstand the corrosion of strong oxidants such as hypochlorite. Its unique tungsten element (3-4.5%) further enhances the ability to repair the passivation film in high-temperature mixed acid, which doubles the service life of the plate in complex working conditions such as chemical equipment and waste incineration.
The innovation of this material is also reflected in its engineering friendliness - despite being a high-performance alloy, C-276 plate can still be processed into complex structural parts through cold forming technology, and the welding area does not require post-weld heat treatment of traditional nickel-based alloys.
